My daughter wanted to be a burglar for Halloween and we were able to put together this costume for under $10.
Supplies:
- striped sweater
- black face paint
- white fabric or pillowcase
- black paint
- paint brush
Steps:
- We found the perfect black and white striped sweater and paired that with black leggings. Then we used black face paint to make her mask.
- We created a simple money bag, that doubled as her trick or treat bag, out of white fabric that we stitched up on 2 sides. Then we painted the "$" symbol on it with black paint.
- With the left over fabric we made little money bags for her dog to wear too. We tied them together with some twine and laid them across her back like saddle bags (see main photo).
