Diamond Post Medal for All Time! 1,246 Posts Make your family members and houseguests giggle in the bathroom with these Halloween inspired mummies and ghost. Empty toilet paper roll mummies lead them to think they're out of luck, but a ghost is there to tell them they can "Poo!"
Total Time: 1 hour
Yield: 2 mummies and 1 ghost
Supplies:
- 2 empty toilet paper tubes
- black marker
- 2 foot strip of toilet paper
- white glue
- 4 googly eyes
- 1 sheet white paper
- scissors
- crazy glue
- 1 paperclip
Steps:
- To make your mummies, draw a black rectangle near the top of each cardboard tube.
- Cut the toilet paper into long, thin strips.
- Separate some of them so they are 1 ply.
- Glue down one end of a strip of toilet paper onto the opposite side of the black rectangle then begin wrapping it around the cardboard tube, avoiding the black rectangle.
- Keep adding more strips, criss-crossing and gluing along the way.
- Place the googly eyes in the centers of the black rectangles.
- To make the ghost, place your piece of paper diagonally in front of the roll of toilet paper. You'll want to cut it so that the bottom edge meets the bottom of the toilet paper, and your top edge is a few inches higher than the top of the toilet paper. I cut into a big teardrop shape.
- Draw a big ghost, then write "Poo!" above its head.
- Trim close to the edges of the ghost and the letters.
- Cut out 2 small rounds of paper, about 2/3 the size of your paperclip. Glue them together and allow them to dry.
- Glue the rounds onto the back of the ghost, around the mouth. Let dry.
- Open up the paper clip a bit. Use a blob of crazy glue to affix the paperclip onto the rounds of paper. Let dry.
- On the remaining white paper, write "Booo" and cut it out close to the edges. Place it in front of the mummies.
- When ghost and clip are completely dry, use the bent out portion of the paperclip and tuck into the toilet paper. The ghost will look like it's hovering over the roll!

Cute. My daughter in law does home daycare and for sure she'll like these in the kiddie's bathroom.
For a chuckle, go back to your pizza article.
