This cute and simple project is adorable for a party or classroom project!
Total Time: 5 minutes
Supplies:
- empty paper towel or toilet paper roll/s
- black construction paper
- googly eyes
- glue
- pipe cleaner
- 2 white thumb tacks with black dots drawn in the middle instead of googly eyes - optional
- scissors
- hole punch
- glue

Steps:
- Cut a piece of black paper in half or to fit the width of the paper towel roll.

- Glue the black paper on the roll.
- Fold the other piece of black paper in half.

- Cut out wings as shown, either straight or curl wings over the front.

- Glue the wings to the back of the roll.

- Punch two holes in the back of the roll.

- Slip the pipe cleaner into the two holes from inside the paper roll.

- Bend the pipe cleaner up into feet.

- Glue the googly eyes or ink the thumbtacks with black eyes and stick the thumbtacks into the toilet paper rolls in front.

- Hang your little guys on a string or curtain rod.

I guess I accidently left off the second photo of the bats with curled wings. Just curl the wings over the face and it's also supper cute! I'll try to add the photo.
- Curl the wings over the face for another cute version of the bat!
